COMMITTED TO SAFETY

Workplace safety is the cornerstone of our business because Triton cares about its team members, their families, and their quality of life – both at work and at home.

With that in mind, we continually strive to create a safe work environment for our team members and the people we work with. Our senior team members lead the safety charge by mentoring their colleagues to ensure everyone at Triton always looks out for their own and each other’s safety, health, and well-being.

In terms of formal oversight, Triton has a Safety Committee that reviews the company’s policies and procedures monthly. This helps us continuously improve from a safety perspective, as all incidents and near misses are investigated to determine root causes and ensure similar incidents do not occur in the future. Everyone on our team is thoroughly trained to analyze the hazards and risks associated with their job activities, and they are empowered and rewarded for identifying or pioneering ways to eliminate or control risks.

To support and protect our team, partners, clients, and members of the communities we operate in and around, Triton has achieved and continues to maintain a number of independently verified corporate safety certifications, including formal audit processes and associated data management initiatives. For example, Triton has received a Certificate of Recognition from Energy Safety Canada, the safety association for the upstream oil and gas industry. We have also completed our SAFE Certification through the BC Forest Safety Council. These programs were developed to recognize employers who implement and maintain a Health and Safety program that meets or exceeds established provincial or national standards.

We are also a registered member of ISNetworld, Avetta, BROWZ, ComplyWorks, and CQN Advantage; all of which are online database platforms that allow us to self-report safety conformance details specifically related to our various clients’ standards.
