Staff from Triton’s Prince George office once again accepted the baton and participated in the Canadian Cancer Society’s 24 hour Relay For Life on May 7. Thirteen staff participated, as well as a few spouses and children joining in for support, walking for periods of 1 to 2 hours at a time. Together the “Triton Tenderfoots” team tracked their activity with a Fitbit logger that was passed between them, recording 143,427 steps or 113 km over the 24hr period! As of the relay weekend, the team had raised $4,683.85, a significant portion of which came from Triton employees. It also includes a $500 from the proceeds of a fundraising garage sale and BBQ held in April.
UPDATE: The 2016 Prince George Relay For Life has once again been named the No.1 Relay in Canada for a third straight year, raising over $557,000!
