Relay for Life is a 24-hour relay in support of the Canadian Cancer Society, where participants take turns walking continuously for 24 hours–this year Prince George’s event was Saturday May 13 to Sunday May 14 10am to 10am. The Prince George event is always a big one and this year was no exception. Our PG staff, the “Triton Tenderfoots”, took part for the third year in a row, and this year they topped the $5,000 fundraising mark, raising a total of $5,628.20. Followers of our Twitter account got to keep up with the action throughout the weekend as Operations Manager Dave Warburton “live tweeted” the event. Well done to all the staff involved. Everyone who has participated in this event over the past three years should be congratulated as we could not have done this without your support. Great work everyone!
